yes, they are legal...what you do with it once you own it may not be (back-up roms)
yes, I have one and I love it...
yes, they are good...but for the price I like my acekard2 better...
follow the instructions, they shouldn't mess up your ds...being that you can load almost anything...read all the files when installing homebrew...
it's simple to use...
don't know about the voice recorder...there is prolly some homebrew app

same thing for NDS and NDS L
Be sure to check out the M3 & the ACEKARD2...cheaper and work just as well...
