Buying on ebay and using paypal first time?

What do i need to know and do these 2 products look genuine.

To me, the second one - Sega-dreamcast - looks *much* more complete, but...

When buying on E-Bay, be sure to look for the seller's rating (upper right side of screen) and any feedback, feedback from buyers, not the feedback from the seller about the buyer.

In both these cases, the sellers have never sold anything on E-Bay before, so have neither ratings or feedback. I would definitely stay clear of both of these people, unless you want to take a chance with your money. They may be perfectly honest, but if you buy from a seller with a good reputation you have a lot better chance of not getting ripped off especially as a first time buyer.

Look for name-brand products that either have never been opened, or there is some sort of guarantee that they will work as advertised.

Pay pal has always been very reliable for us. And, if you read the 'fine print', there are certain protections against fraud or misrepresentation it offers. I can't speak to the 'premium' product, but I assume it's at least alright, since we have always used the regular and been happy with it.

Good luck, have fun- but don't make the mistake of buying the first thing that looks appealing to you just because you now have a pay pal account !

Oh, and BTW, we have only been ripped off once over the years we've been doing this, and that was by an unscrupulous sell, not by pay pal.
