I have lost my game manual for the old version of the sims serial number. How can I get it easily?
I want to install the sims first edition ( Before The Sims living large) to my new pc but I lost my serial number. Where can I get it for free?
Here are instructions from the Sims website if you're using the same computer it was installed on before:
Here's how to pull the number out of your old computer's registry:
Click Start, then Run and type in regedit then click OK.
In the registry editor window, click the + next to hkey_local_machine,
then the + next to software,
the + next to electronic arts,
the + next to Maxis,
the + next to the expansion pack that serial number was lost.
Click the "ergc" folder, and look in the big window to the right and next to word default is the serial number.
Also, if you registered the game, the number should be listed here: (http://thesims.ea.com/us) under your master screen name (the first one created when you set up the account). Click the blue Register button at the top of this page while logged on in that name, then go to the Got Serial Numbers area and see what all you do have registered.

It is fascinating how many varieties of cribbage pegs there are. Usually simple at first sight, these pegs can be made into the most intricate and beautiful pieces. You would be amazed to find out how many companies there are completely devoted to the production of customized cribbage pegs. Most people tend to think of Cribbage pegs as just another piece in a game; not really paying attention to the pegs' place in the integrity of the game.
Most standard pegs only measure to about 1 inch long, although you can get them in longer sizes to help when you are playing with children and elderly people so that it is easier for them to reach and see. You can get the pegs in a standard plastic state in a multitude of colors. But you would be missing out on a world of color, patterns and detail. There is a range of metal cribbage pegs made in a variety of metals such as brass, copper and aluminum. They can either be painted or show off their natural state which, if they are polished correctly can be very elegant in the most basic way.
There are a unique group of cribbage pegs that are flattened on the top and you are able to put logos or pictures on the pegs, making them appeasing to the eyes and very easy to move around. As long as the pegs fit into the holes of the board the possibilities are endless. There is also a line of handcrafted pegs made with the simplest accessories that come out to be stunning. In one such specialty shop there is a set of wooden pegs carved with a swizzle design and hand painted with multiple colors that keep the eyes wandering. Some have mother of pearl on the very top, and it is said to take days of hand craftsmanship to make them but they are worth it.
Just as with the cribbage boards themselves, the pegs are also available in a multitude of materials, such as exotic woods, metals, plastics and resins and they can be accessorized with precious stones/gems ad the like. There are also companies that will customize pegs based on your designs. There is a set of pegs out that will turn your opponents green with envy. It's a fantastic set of 9 cribbage pegs that are individually handcrafted using snakewood with genuine opals, ebony mother of pearl and woolly mammoth with Alaska Black Diamond. The set comes with two of each type of peg, the snakewood cribbage pegs are inset with genuine opals to show off the gleaming exotic hard wood.
