When Shiv Kapur missed his final put at the 18th hole of the South African Open at Paarl in the Western Cape losing the play off to Richie Ramsay of Scotland, he secured his greatest career success since he turned professional in 2004 and became a new sporting hero for India that may one day rival the super star status of the national cricket team.
