Pirates Caribbean
Were there really pirates in the Caribbean?
I live in the Caribbean and nothing too crazy happened here with pirates. I know there was this famous one called Pirate Cofresi in the island Puerto Rico where I live, and I think there was two more. But really, their adventures were so "great" that I don't even remember what they really did. In History class I learn little information about them, I know they used to come over here and they had fights and steal from other people and then sail away, but nothing more.
Were there really Pirates in the Caribbean like in the movie and, to which islands they use to go? Do you know the name of real famous pirates?
The great or classic era of piracy in the Caribbean extends from around 1560 up until the end of the Golden Age of Piracy in the 1730s. The period during which pirates were most successful was from the 1640s until the 1680s. Caribbean piracy arose out of, and mirrored on a smaller scale, the conflicts over trade and colonization among the rival European powers of the time, including England, Spain, Dutch United Provinces, and France. Two of the best-known pirate bases were Tortuga in the 1640s and Port Royal after 1655. One of the last famous pirates of the Caribbean was Cofresí: Roberto Cofresí Ramirez de Arellano (1791-1825). He was put to death for his crimes in Puerto Rico at the Castle of San Felipe del Morro. His romantic legend inspires plays and songs on the island.
Piracy was common in this area because the surrounding coastline had many isolated beaches where pirates could land.

We remember when Pirates came out, everyone played a pirate. We think, at one point, we ran into Henesys and saw nothing but pirates. Cygnus knights will die in about a month, especially the fact that they stop leveling(Maple Story Mesos) around 120 or whatever. Cygnus Knights will not die out as quickly as Pirates, if ever. Pirates were simply a new class with pros and cons, just like every other class.
After the hype wears down, some like the Pirates, some do not. Cygnus Knights are different, though. They are basically an overpowered version of each class. You are more powerful, you level faster, you are accepted into PQs and parties earlier, you have your fun early on. People will flock to KoCs and continue to flock to them after the hype ends because, unlike regular classes(MapleStory gold), at lower levels, KoCs are just so much more powerful than Adventurers. Plus, even WITH the KoCs, most will not make it to 120.
They will start a new account as another KoC. After all, since not many make it to higher levels, it just take advantage of the power that will be easily handed to them. We will not be personally falling into Nexon's ploy to keep people around who hate the grind, but the majority of the population will, and we do not think it will die.
