Can I use my Guitar Hero III guitars for Guitar Hero world tour?

I have Guitar Hero III on Wii and was wanting to buy Guitar Hero World tour but i don't really want the drums or the mic so i wanted to buy just the game. Can I use the guitars for the 3rd one for the new one also? Has anyone played Guitar Hero World Tour yet? If so, how was it? Thanks!

You will have no problem playing Guitar Hero World Tour with your GH3 controller. However, the GH3 controller does not include the tapping, which comes on the World Tour guitar. The star power doesn't work when I tilt mine either, I have to press the (-) button. I've played it and it is a lot of fun. The songs seem to be more difficult. Have fun!

If you are feeling disappointed playing the guitar because it seems too tough, here are a few guidelines to combat the frustration you may feel. 

•    Stop.  Take Frequent Breaks
       Playing the same wrong note over and over can make even the sanest, most patient person annoyed.  That's okay.  It's part of the learning method.  Stop, give a deep breath and return.  If that still doesn't help, it may be time to stop for the day and move on to something else and come back with a clear head. Going away from the guitar frequently can help build your sanity and bring your emotions back under control.  Keep the guitar out of its case and keep it in plain site.  It will inspire you to go back to it once the vibes strikes again.  Playing guitar is supposed to be a fun activity. Obliging yourself to practice may seem like training and aid in annoyance if things do not sound right.  If at any point it looses its fun, stop.  

•    "Write"  Your Own Songs
       If the songs you are performing are too complex, stop playing music already written.  Once you have memorized the fret board, finger placement and chords, make up your own music.  Most songs on alternative radio today are 3 chord songs in one key.  With that in mind, take that thought and run wild with it.  You can even draw out your own fret board and create your own way of recognizing notes and frets if you so desire.  You will feel like a rock star and increase your confidence.  This what makes playing the guitar that much more pleasurable.

•    Go Back to the Basics
       If your problem is finger placement, it may be time for a review.  Have a look at a few self help videos or watch the experts.  Mix these instruments with evaluating online diagrams of a fret board with dots and numbers presenting you where to place your fingers.  If your difficulty is memorizing the chords, online diagrams may serve as a visual cue to help in recognition.  You may also want to use the aid of any friends who may know how to perform or instructors to aid in the assessment of your success.

 •    Be Inspired
       Watch concert videos of your favorite artists from past to present.  Doing this will help keep you inspired and  re-energize you if you are losing the motivation and the willingness to play.  Listening to the radio aids in chord recognition if it is something you have mastered.  Perform along with the radio. Buy or demo video games like Guitar Hero and Rock star.  The video game versions use color and sound to notify you of the proper ways to play.  This is a great instrument for visual beginners and may even help in evading the use of an instructor.  

      Having frequent breaks, writing your own songs and even video games like Guitar Hero can help make learning the guitar a more enjoyable experience and relieve frustrations.

Can the Lake Naivasha in Kenya be saved? This has been the big question of late. In fact, the lake's users and water regulators convened at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge to hammer out a formula to protect one of Africa most important sites. This amid concerns that it is just a matter of time before it dries up for the third time, and maybe forever, taking with it billions of shillings in investments and the livelihoods of millions of people.
The lake is a popular vacation weekend getaway for weary city dwellers. It was once part of a bigger lake that included Lakes Elmenteita and Lake Nakuru, but much of this original body of water dried up, leaving Lake Naivasha with a 150 km2 freshwater lake. Subsequently, Lake Naivasha becomes known for its cool climate, peaceful surrounds and tranquil waters; an excellent holidaying spot.

During the colonial era of the early 20th century, the lakeshore was a popular location for parties. Today, the fertile soil around the lake is used for agriculture, in particular for the production of fruit, flowers, vegetables and vineyards, while the fish of the lake attract over 400 bird species. Wild animals that can be seen frequenting the shore are zebra, antelope, giraffes, monkeys and hippopotamus.

Between 1937 and 1950 this beautiful, peaceful fresh water lake was used as a landing place for plane passengers destined for Nairobi! The flying boat from London would land on the lake where the Lake Naivasha Country Club now stands, and travellers would board a bus for Nairobi. Today the lovely lake, with its cool climate, has become a retreat for Nairobi residents and tourists looking for peace.
Officials from the Kenya Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) and the Naivasha Municipal Council and flower growers agreed there is an urgent need for them to engage the communities around the lake and far up its catchment areas to get its feeder rivers, which have since stopped flowing, back on course. Listening to the deliberations from the almost tearful speakers, the pain of losing Lake Naivasha becomes so real, the frustration obvious.

Unfortunately, neither the council nor WARMA has details on the lake's water usage; though officials say the report is being complied and will be ready in a month. "Without the lake, there is no Naivasha. Without the lake, there are no flowers. Without the flowers, the people who live in the town will have to relocate," said the mayor of Naivasha Municipal Council. The Lake Naivasha Growers Association, the Lake Naivasha Water Users Association, the Council and the government are burning the midnight oil to implement the Lake Naivasha Management Plan, which would provide water extraction, recover all riparian land and control usage. The plan, to be enforced by the Council, states how much water should be allocated to pastoralists, individuals, commercial users, irrigators and tourism.
