Backup Your Games Using PS2 Game Copy Software

January 17th, 2010 No comments

You'd like to back up and protect your favorite PS2 games, but don't know how to begin. Don't fret. It's easy if you have the right tools for the job, the most important of which is a special game copying software application. Your PS2 games have an integrated copy protection scheme that the manufacturer included to prevent you from copying and distributing games. The software that you normally use to copy music and videos cannot bypass that protection. Special PS2 game copy software applications, however, are designed to bypass that protection, enabling you to easily copy all of your games.

There are several good versions of software for copying PS2 games available in the market place, and most of them will make good copies of games. From experience, however, dedicated gamers highly recommend a version called Game Copy Wizard, because it is reliable and very easy to use. All you need, in addition to the PS2 game copying software itself, is a computer with a DVD burner, and some DVD blank disks.

If you have all the equipment and supplies needed, and of course an original PS2 game to copy, it's simply a matter of installing the PS2 game copy software, alternately inserting the game disk and the blank DVD disk, and following the on screen instructions. You don't need to be a rocket scientist. In very short order, you'll have a usable, high quality copy of your original game. If you have games from other systems that you also wish to copy, not to worry. The Game Copy Wizard can copy most popular games such as Game Cube, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PS1, PS3, DreamCast, and several other PC games.

Simply by owning a copy of the Game Copy Wizard, you can control the fate of your expensive games, avoiding the prohibitive cost of replacing them should they become damaged, lost, or stolen. To ensure that you have the maximum protection possible for your games, copy them, store away the originals for safekeeping, and use the copies for playing the games. All risk is reduced. If you damage a copy, simply make another.

Game Copy Wizard has had rave reviews and excellent testimonials from users. It takes only a couple of minutes to download and install. It supports most file formats like AVI, DIVX, MP3, MP4, and many others. In addition to backing up all of your games, PS2 game copy software allows you to copy music, video, data, and movies. If, for any reason, you are not happy with the Game Copy Wizard software-but I'm sure you will be-you can return it for a full refund, so there is no risk at all!

A Programmer’s Reminder On What A Good Game Means

January 13th, 2010 No comments

When you're trying to create a video game, it's quite easy to get immersed in the details and forget that it ultimately should be fun for those playing it. In this article I will try to remind you what people are looking for in a video game.

Whenever you feel annoyed by the programming problems you encounter, remember that people will play your game and they will have a great time doing it.

1. Don't forget that the main character is represented by the player. Here's a tip for you. When they play something, people want to feel in control. If you make a game that allows people to feel in control, than 50% of the game is done already. I'm not saying that you should make a game that is too easy. I'm just saying that someone that runs home to play your game, he needs a game that will allow him to be in control. Your game should have a good game play and the result should come natural.

2. You know what KISS means, right? KISS means Keep It Simple Stupid. While it's hard to make a game, people don't need to know it and they don't want to. The game play shouldn't be influenced in any way by your difficulties in creating the game. Your game should always be easy to start, navigate through and to play it. Don't make a game that a preschooler will be able to finish, but at least don't make it so hard that only some people can finish it. We don't want a manual with a hundred pages to explain how to play it. Only a small part of the players will bother to read a big manual. The rest will quit the game if it's too difficult, instead of going through the manual.

3. Make sure the game has enough action in it. If the game has plenty of action in it, the players will be more interested in finishing it. As they invest more time in the game, they will find it more entertaining. When the player does something in the game, they should get a reaction in return that will make them want to play more.

4. Work on the game's story. I hate it when I play games that have no good story and I don't know what my purpose is there. Humans always need a purpose to inspire them. If you don't have it in a game, your game play will suffer and it will not be as interesting. Players should be given every opportunity to enjoy your game, so work on the story.

5. The game should have enough eye candy. Players shouldn't be distracted by the graphics. Their game play needs to be enhanced by the graphics of the game. It should let them want more.

6. Bring realism into the game. It's OK to have a fantasy game, but the cool part is that they feel real. If you're not familiar with the type of game or the backstory, it's harder to get into it.

Burn Your Nintendo Wii Game Collection With a New Game Burning Software

January 3rd, 2010 No comments

Keep your warrant intact, and no risk of over burn your Nintendo WII because over expanded power in the circuits, by adding a chip.

This game burning software Works with everything from Nintendo WII, Xbox 360, Xbox, Ps1, Ps2, Ps3 to regular PC games as well. You only need this one software even if you have many different consoles.

There is a lot of money to be saved making a back up of your games Save a lot of money by backing up your games, because there is not warrant or money back guarantee on consol games. If the game gets destroyed you can just create a new back up from the original and keep playing.

An easy guide to successful backing up your Nintendo WII games:
- Run the game burning software on your computer, and restart.
- Open the game burning software, and insert the original Nintendo WII game disc to your computer.
- Copy the game to a location on your computer. It might take a little depending on the size of the game.
- Insert an empty DVD disc to your DVD burner. Notice that you might need a dual layer disc depending on the size of the disc.
- Follow the instructions and copy the game from your computer to the empty DVD

It is possible to create as many copies as you like, just remember to store the original on a safe place, and make copies from that when the backup DVDs wears out. Using the game burning software there is no need for any modifications in your consol.

Game Cube

Game Cube

Is there an adapter that I can connect a game cube to a monitor?

Can our plug n play games, (vsmile and game cube) be connected to the computer monitor vs a tv. My computer monitor is an older one and does not have the hookups in the back to connect directly. If there is an adapter, what is it called?

VDigi Electronics makes an adapter called the VD-Z3 that will let you hook up XBOX, GameCube, PS2, and others to a computer monitor. The price is a bit steep (in my opinion) but I've seen them and they do work.

Maybe you have left it too late and now you need science Fair Projects you can do quickly. Well, you're in luck, here is a fun and easy one you can do in less than 24 hours! This is one of our many easy science fair projects to do on short notice

This experiment is about heat absorption. You are going to try and find out which colors absorb more heat than other.

Here are the questions you should be able to answer after you have completed this science fair project:

Now we have to start our experiment:

Do you know what the first thing is you need to do? Yes, you have to formulate your hypothesis! In doing this experiment to see which ice cube, covered in different colors, melts the most, what do you think your hypothesis should be? Okay it is: Do dark colors absorb more heat than light colors.

What you need for this easy science fair project (it is called the materials):

How you have to do this experiment (it is called the procedure):

(Beginning weight) - (final weight)/ Beginning weight  X 100 = percentage melted

Can you think of what else you can do for your display now? Yes, you have to make a graph to show the differences in percentage each ice cube melted.

Now you can come to your conclusion about the difference in heat different colors absorbs.

If you have more time for science fair projects to do, you can take this experiment further by doing the same, but placing the tray in the fridge or by covering it with a cardboard box to see if it makes any difference to the results and to formulate why you think it makes a difference. For instance, does the heat absorption of the cardboard box play any role in it?

You may have been wondering how you will be able to beat the wolf whistle quest from the top online adventure game, Runescape. Now, here is the answer to your problems. This guide will help you complete the quest easily. Follow this step by step guide and you will make it successfully:

  1. Have a chat with Pikkupstix. He is located in Taverley. He will tell you that the Summoning obelisk exists beneath his house. As he talks to you, you will hear bursts of noise coming from upstairs and he later tells you that it is a Giant wolpertinger, which is a rabbit like beast. He will also inform you that his assistant is on errand to help you on this mission but he still has not yet returned. Now, when he tells you to go upstairs, climb the ladder and here, you will observe a cut scene. After that, talk to Pikkupstix one more time.
  2. Discover whether Pikkupstix is helpful. Now that you have volunteered to help, give two wolf bones to him. You can obtain these once you have found his assistant's corpse. You can find the dead body at the path to the top of the mountain or you can also find it through killing two wolves, which can be found at the White Wolf Mountain.
  3. Once you have the wolf bones, go back to where Pikkupstix is. He will give you two gold charms, two pouches, one trapdoor key and 14 spirit shards. Now, when you have received all of these items, go to the basement of his house.
  4. After entering the basement, infuse the wolf pouch. This can be done through right clicking on the infuse-pouch obelisk option. You will see the screen for the Summoning Pouch Creation. Infuse both pouches and then make them spirit wolf pouches.
  5. Now create ten howl scrolls by using one of the spirit wolf pouches on the obelisk. Go back to Pikkupstix and he will give you another set of instructions. Go upstairs once again and then you will state that you will call for the spirit wolf. A short cut scene will follow where the wolpertinger will become aware of you.
  6. Deal with the wolpertinger by right clicking on the spirit wolf pouch. Choose the "summon spirit wolf" option, which will bring up the control panel for summoning. Right click on the howl scroll, which is found at the top left of the panel. Click on Cast Howl and pick Giant Wolpertinger. Another scene will ensue and then the wolf will vanish.
  7. Go back to Pikkupstix and talk to him. Go downstairs so that you can renew your skill for summoning. Simply right click on the obelisk to do so.
  8. The last step here is to go back to Pikkupstix for you to claim what you have earned for this quest.

It is not that hard as may have imagined. Just make sure that you follow the process listed here so that you will be able to beat the wolf whistle quest without any difficulty. Wolpertingers are actually part wolf and part rabbit. They are monsters with level 92 from the Summoning familiars. If you complete this quest, you will be able to boost up your Hunter skill by five.
