Mario Kart Wii

How do you earn 3 stars on Mario Kart Wii?

I'm playing through the tracks on Mario Kart Wii. Sometimes when I come first all the time and get 60 points I get one star. Sometimes, (although more rare) I get 2. I've read on the Internet you can get 3. How is this determined? We seem to have misplaced the manual so I can't look it up!

I just got three stars and I don't know what I did differently. I won every race by a large margin. Who knows matbe you just need super fast times. Oh one other thiing I have at least a gold on all races. I don't know if that make a difference.

Sale Price: $5.63

The wheels make the game more fun to play and easier to play for new or young players. (This is a 3rd party's product, NOT from Nintendo) (Wii remote is not included)

Usual suspects such as external power supply, composite cables and SCART adapters are all present. We are even offered a pre synchronized Wii Remote and Nunchuk, with batteries. We suspect this is really a ploy to get you hooked and addicted as soon as possible, after all the only we can think off not getting addicted to the phenomenon that is Wii is by not playing it

Wii also comes supplied with a Sensor Bar, allowing you to point at the screen using the remote. This bar is not intrusive and can be tucked away on the top or bottom of the TV. Nintendo Wii also come supplied with adhesive pads, for the bar (we recommend not using these).

Once the setup of the console is complete, you also have to set the language, date and time also with sensor placement settings. Then you are ready to dive into the gaming experience

Before going to play you games, we would recommend setting up an interconnection first. This process is usually very quick. Once the connection has been detected, its a matter of entering the correct password, and you are off.

Wireless performance, should also not disappoint, thanks to the included tow internal antennas, one mounted vertically and other horizontally, hence you will get same performance regardless of the orientation of your Wii. If you do get stuck the help manuals are clear and complete, with plenty of pictures to show you what to do.

If you know Wii you know its not a graphics machine, with estimated speeds of Wii just above the original Xbox (This is an estimation based on our observations, and not a number to be quoted!) But a Wii is not designed to be a graphics monster! what it lacks in graphics it makes up for in other areas

Wii also does not feature an internal hard drive, but relies on a flash drive to store saved games, virtual console titles and downloaded channels. There however is an SD card Slot, which will take capacity up to 2GB The optical drive can accept GameCube discs and Wii discs, and in most cases Wii is also backward compatible with GameCube games.

Now we come to what is the most important element of Wii: the Wii Remote. When it was first unveiled in 2005 reactions varied from shock, astonishment and denial and have since progressed to curiosity, acceptance and eventually to expectation. The idea will never please everyone but the remote does everything Nintendo promised it could do with great aplomb.

The Wii remote is one of the areas that has made Nintendo Wii instantly recognizable. In our opinion it is a technological marvel On first picking up the remote it feels perfectly natural, with your thumb and index finger hovering over the A button and B trigger located on the top and underside respectively. With batteries inserted the weight feels just right, providing perfect balance for careful manipulation and tilting. Much like the console as a whole the remote exudes superb build quality too, with satisfying button mechanisms and even high quality battery springs. Small details count for a lot, and these small details inspire confidence from the outset.

Moreover, one of the great strengths of the remote is how it can be held in a variety of different ways For racing games the remote can also be held horizontally; titling left and right to steer.

We think Nintendo Wii is the best console game based on shear fun. It offers aspects of gaming never before seen, such as family orientated games and fun. Coupled with healthy dose of well though out games Nintendo Wii is the best console. And set to yet again top Christmas 2009 wish list

Playing Mario Kart Wii online, how do I make red shells stick to me instead of hitting me?

I want to know because I've seen it a lot... How do I make red shells stick to the back of my Kart playing Mario Kart Wii online

You are a little confused, but I can help you out. The shells you see "sticking" to people are not ones that were shot at them. Those are shells that they got themselves. You can hold pretty much any item behind you like that (except for the three shells, stars, mushrooms).

You can do this by holding down your release button. I personally use the trigger underneath, but you may used the left and right buttons on the key pad. Whichever way you do it, it will work. Just hold down the release button. The item will stay there until you release the button, or someone shoots it off.

Hint... once you are holding it like that you can go pick up another item. The items can be used to shield you from attacks as well!

Wii games are among the most wanted games and the Wii console ranks among the first choices for a Christmas present. Here are some Wii games that are more popular among people.

Wii Sports Resort

Using Wii Sports Resort you will be able to get some of the most popular Wii sports and you will be able to move, do some action and stay in shape. It is great for many people that are trying to lose weight. The Wii Sports Resort is one set of beach resort located on an island named Wuhu Island. This can be found in Wii Fit also. In order to play you need the MotionPlus accessory.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

This includes a wonderful collection of game modes, with impressive characters, making all of it extremely fun. These can be played by many people and there are many characters that were also used in former Nintendo games. People have counted about 35 characters, like Fox McCloud from Star Fox, Meta Knight from Kirby, Ike from Fire Emblem, Pikachu from Pokemon and also the famous Mario. You should know that Smash Bros is very popular because it is simple to use and has simple controls. There are also many characters that will help you during the battle.

Mario Kart Wii

This is one nice multi-player game that you can play online with the friends. You will have to race against 11 other competitors, in a fantastic 'Grand Prix' style. You can choose among 32 different routes, many of them quite brand-new. There are various items that will help you like a mega mushroom that will allow you to grow super huge.

Wii Guitar Hero: World Tour

This can be played by maximum of 8 players and it is very fun. You can play guitar or any other instrument and you can also create a band with your friends. You can really be a rock star using this game.

Dead Rising: Chop till You Drop

There has been an original XBox 360 version. There are many zombies and the story involves a photojournalist named Frank who is researching a zombie invasion in a shopping mall. He has to find clues about all that deal and also to kill the zombies. It is one game that requires strategic thinking but it will make you laugh as well.

So pick the Wii game that you like and have fun with it.
