Have you considering purchasing a full suspension bike? A full suspension bicycle has a front mountain bike fork that has front shocks and the back is supported with another set of shocks. A hardtail mountain bike is a bicycle that only has the front shocks and does not support shocks for the back wheels.

So what type of mountain bike is suitable for you? If the only type of riding that you do is on hard flat ground, then a suspension bike is not for you. If you like to go over rugged terrain and uneven surfaces, than you might consider a bike with suspension forks. Hardtail bikes are easier to ride when going on flat surfaces as you won't be bouncing all over the place. However, shocks these days can be adjusted so that you are able to make them stiff when you need them to be or to have extra bounce when you are on surfaces what require extra give.

There are also suspensions for bike seats, but these bike suspensions are usually supported on comfort bikes that are hybrids of road bikes and mountain bikes. Typically, suspensions are created with spring or air compression that allows the shock to travel a certain distance.

A rear suspension has many different types of supports and some that are popular are single pivot and split pivot. Single pivot suspensions are very simple designs and hence, the cheapest of all rear suspensions. If you are confused about what type of suspension is best for you, make sure to do your research beforehand. Remember that shocks are not perfect and it is up to the rider to decide what feels right for them.

At just under $250, Nintendo's Wii console is by far the best value games console on the market. Not only this, it is also the most innovative gaming machine to hit the shop shelves in years.

The Wii has been on our shop shelves for over a year now. If you are not already familiar with it, it stands out from its competitors in that it allows motion sensitive gameplay with its wireless controller. That is, the controller can be swung like a racquet in a tennis game, used like a sword in a fighting game and so on.

Arguably the second most notable thing about the Wii is the price. It retails at half the price of the bottom end PlayStation 3, and is $150 dollars cheaper than the XBox 360. Both the PS3 and XBox 360 do offer better graphics and larger memories, but neither provides the Wii's unique style of gameplay.

The Wii ships with everything you need to get gaming. You get the console, a controller, the cables for hooking it up your TV, and a sports games package to get you started. However, to really get the most of your Wii you will have to spend a little more.

For example, if you are a HDTV owner you will need the Wii Component Video Cable, which retails for about $30. An extra controller (essential for two-player games) will cost about another $30, while the Wii Nunchuk Controllers sell for around the $20 dollar mark. The Nunchuk Controllers aren't essential but you do need them to get the most out of certain games.

Also, the Wii controllers, being remote, run on AA batteries and drain them notoriously quickly. So, you will also need a good set of rechargeable batteries and a recharger, or a Wii charge station - add $25.

Finally, you will probably also want some extra memory (the Wii comes with only 512MB internal memory) for some games. So, depending on your needs, you may want to budget more in the region of $400 to get the most from your Wii. So, shop around for some packages with all the components you need for the best deal.

Despite all these extra expenses, the Wii is still a great buy. Just be prepared to pay slightly more than the $250 price tag.

If you are a metal artist or want to become a metal artist you will need some tools. Not some simple hand tools like hammers and ratchets. You will probably need to invest some real money into things like welders and torches. Why you ask? Metal Art making is a bit more expensive then driftwood art.

Cutting Tools:

Plasma Cutters Â– These machines give you fine cuts in your metal. They are the newest generation of torches out there. You can spend anywhere from $500-$10,000.

Acetylene Torches Â– Also know as a Â“blow torch.Â” This has been one of the base tools for creating metal art for quite some time. One of the basic tools in your kit.

Band Saws Â– You donÂ’t need a band saw, but they are handy. They give you more precision cuts if you are fabricating something critical. The are a bit more messy as they use cutting fluid.

Chop Saws Â– Quick and dirty saw that gets the job done. If tight tolerances arenÂ’t needed then this saw is the quickest. It makes a mess as well, but it is a dry mess that sweeps up. It is a bit cleaner then the band saw.

Prep Tools

Grinders Â– It seems you are forever grinding when you are making metal art. There are all kinds of things you are trying to get rid of. Think of a grinder like a chisel if you were a stone sculptor.

Buffers Â– Some times to create shines and surface textures we use buffers in metal art. Think of polishing chrome.

Hand Chipping Tools Â– In the rough fabrication stage we use a lot of hand tools. Some of these we use to chip away slag. This slag could be left over from plasma cutting or welding. To make our metal art look good, we need to remove it.

Welders

MIG Welders Â– These welder are also know as Wire Feed welders as there is a spool of wire that you use to weld up your Metal Art. Most commonly used on mild steel.

TIG Â– This type of welding fuses two pieces together. You can also use a filler rod if needed. Most of the time you are just sealing up a seam. This seems to be more popular with Aluminum and stainless steel welding.

As you can see these are a few of the tools you might need when creating metal art. There are many others we didnÂ’t describe, but these are some of the basics of metal artwork.
