Oh no, it happened, you have become victim to the Xbox 360's dreaded E74 Error. Well don't worry my friend, in this article I am going to show you exactly how you can fix the E74 Error without shipping off your system for two months.

The first way to fix this error is actually really quite simple, it may just be your AV cable. The first thing that you can try is to unplug the AV cable and blow out any dust that may be built up in the connections. Then try hooking it back up and turning it on.

If you are still facing the error than try getting a new AV cable, or you can borrow one from a friend so that you don't buy a new cable if this is not the solution either. Once you have the new AV cable, plug it in, fire up your Xbox 360 and if the error is still occurring then you will have to move on to the next method of fixing the E74 Error.

If the AV cable didn't work then you are going to have to move on to a little bit of a more complex method to fix the error. It can still be fixed but the methods can't be explained in a single article.

You can find Xbox 360 repair guides on the Internet that have very detailed instructions on how to fix the E74 error as well as other errors like freezing, the no video problem and the red ring of death. These guides usually come with very detailed step-by-step instructions. The better guides will also include pictures and videos of the process so you can be sure that you will understand each step of the repair.

So if you have experienced the Xbox 360 E74 Error, it is not the end of your gaming days, you can fix it. Hopefully it is just your AV cable but if not there is still a solution out there if you are willing to do a little more research.

I love my PSP, and you marry it if it would show some more emotion, but for entertainment, cuddling, romantic times etc, I've had it all with my PSP, and if you own a PSP, then so have you.

However, without a decent memory card, you are limiting yourself. PSP has many capabilities, and with a large memory card(4GB, 8GB and above) you can ditch your mp3 player, and even an mp4 player if you have one, as the PSP will take care of your (almost) every need!

Women and PSPs are alike in many ways. Both (hopefully) sexy, entertaining, good for romance(...I tend to get carried away with my Playstation Portable). To unlock some of the hidden potential, you must fork out some cash on your lady(on jewellery, or a hotel break etc.) and similarly on your PSP(a decent sized memory card).

*Putting an end to that horrible analogy now!*

Without a decent sized Pro Duo card, you are limiting yourself. PSP has many capabilities, and with a large capacity(4GB, 8GB and above) you can ditch your mp3 player, and even an mp4 player if you have one, as the PSP will take care of your (almost) every need! If you're a pirate(curse you!) a memory card of at least a few gigs is essential.

Unfortunately, the price of Pro duo cards has not lowered as much as the more commonly used memory cards such as micro SD, or SD, so now your left with the dilemma, you want a big reliable memory card for your PSP, but don't fancy the price tag!

You can do what I did, and purchase cheap cards online. The lesson I learnt from this was if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Here are the main reasons why you should be cautious before handing over money for a cheap memory card:

-Cheap(/fake) memory cards can suffer from numerous problems. Firstly, although they may be labelled as being genuine Sony or SanDisk cards, they will on average have a lower build quality then their authentic counterparts.

-Another problem that arises is the fake memory card may not have the advertised capacity. Even if your "8GB" card comes up on your PC as having 7.67GB free, if may only be able to hold 4 GB of data before it complains that it is full.

-The final main problem associated with fake cards is that the read and write speeds will be unbearably slow. Too slow to play demos / backups. Not to mention you can have your dinner in the time it takes to copy an album onto it!

Although there are legimate cheap PSP cards on the net, my advice would be as follows:

Regardless of the interest you have at heart or the business you are in there is always a rivalry between the best in anything. Pepsi vs. Coke. Wal-Mart vs. Target. Coors vs. Budweiser. You get the point, when it comes to being the best it doesn’t matter who you are, there is always a rival and there is always somebody ready to take up the argument of the “other guys”.

The video game industry is no different than any other so when it comes to being a hardcore video gamer in the present day there are two choices for you in which to choose your alliance, Microsoft or Sony. More specifically, you need to choose between their golden children, the PlayStation and Xbox empires. For those of you incapable of making the decision yourself, read the following to understand what both have to offer.

• Xbox was released over a year ago with no competitor as Sony had yet to release its new PlayStation 3, delaying it over a year to make it competitive. PlayStation 3 seems to have done so with a Cell Broadband Engine to power its newest entry into the video gaming arms race. Whether you know which is better without playing both is solely based on if you are a computer genius or not. If not, which most of us are not, understand that both are based on having multiple processors running at the same time.
• Just as you would expect, both manufacturers offer different packages for buyers in retail outlets across the country. Generally, each is offered in a “core” package and a “premium” package with names varying at different retail outlets. Basically, what you have to choose from is a basic system with no hard drive, but everything else. A system that provides you with 20GB of hard drive and a different system that offers 60GB of hard drive. Xbox 360 is generally around $100 cheaper in all categories at the moment, but it has also been around for a year longer.
• Where PlayStation 3 is separating itself from Xbox 360 at the time being is in the game discs or capability with Blu-Ray technology. Blu-Ray technology allows for more space on each disc which means that developers and designers can go deeper and more sophisticated with game play in each game. This is exclusive to PlayStation 3 at the moment, but you can bet that all systems will have it in the coming years.
• Both video gaming giants offer an online gaming service to allow gamers to be able to compete with each other across the world. Xbox Live is currently the more well known of the two services, but it does cost money in the form of a monthly subscription to be able to use it. PlayStation 3 is preparing to have a massive online community along with the launch of the system itself, with the difference between them and Xbox being that PS3Â’s online service will be offered without charge.
