If you're looking into buying a game system, you've probably spent at least a little debating which system to go with. Picking between the three big systems is tough, since all three have a lot to offer. How do you get a final decision?

Not a surprise: the Wii is amazingly fun! The tilt and position detecting controller of the Wii offers a completely different type of game play. Quite an amazing system. However, its graphics are not up to the latest standard, so some types of games won't get the level of detail they deserve.

The PS3 laughs at these problems. The PS3 has the best hardware and the best graphics of any system currently released. Games look gorgeous on the PS3. Some of the most popular gaming series are available for it, making it an even better choice.

High end graphics are also provided by the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 provides good performance with an ever growing library of games. It comes in several system configurations that give you different levels of functionality out of the box. Additionally, it is well supported by third parties. If it's Xbox 360 accessories you're looking for, you will not be disappointed.

To choose between all of these consoles, it's all about the games. If you're like most gamers, you'll find you prefer the game offerings on one system over another. If you like games with innovative new gameplay, get a Wii. If you like the popular Japanese game series, most of these are for the PlayStation. If you like shooters, the Xbox controller makes these a blast to play. Think about what types of games you prefer, then choose from that.

What's the best Pokemon version?

My little brother is asking for a Pokemon game. He says there is a diamond and pearl version. Which one should I get for him? (He has a Nintendo DS, the one with the pen and touch screen). Descriptions of the versions would be appreciated.
No old versions please. Just the new ones.

Diamond and Pearl are the exact same games. Only difference between Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are the different kinds of pokemon you can catch(aka:"tame") later on in the game. Besides that, it is the -exact- same gameplay, same places, same everything.

I used to play Pearl, and my sister has Diamond. Same thing. If you want to have pokemon from Pokemon Pearl in your Pokemon Diamond game, then you find a friend with Pearl and trade pokemon, but its really not a big deal, since they share most of the same pokemon.

Ask him what sounds cooler, a diamond or a pearl, then buy that one

(also, both Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are the only current pokemon games that work with the Nintendo DS Touch Screen, making it the most advanced pokemon game for now. Pokemon Plantuim will be the newest game, but it wont release in the US for another 6-7 months)

I have mentioned in previous articles, that there is no such thing as a good and bad memory just a trained or untrained one. Here is an exercise that you can do to help you build your photographic memory.

Do this whenever you need to do some shopping for just a few things. It is called the "body list" and it is very effective. Instead of putting your list on paper with a pen, you put your list on your body with your memory.

Lets take the top of your head, the tip of your nose, and your kneecap.

Now you need to go to the store for your daughter for some craft supplies. She told you that she needs some tape, a pencil, and a package of pipe cleaners.

You first look at your body and remember the top of your head, the tip of your nose and your kneecap. Those are easy to remember because they are part of you. In fact, you could not forget those parts of you if you tried. So now all we need to to is to put them together.

Now we need clear vivid pictures of us taking a certain action that will help us remember. Picture yourself taking a pipe cleaner and putting it up your nose. I guarantee you will remember that one. Next take a pencil and picture it balancing on the top of your head, and finally take some tape and picture yourself taking the end of the tape and taping it to your kneecap and allowing the tape to just hang there.

Then when you arrive at the store, all you have to remember is the top of your head, the tip of your nose and your kneecap. This technique can be effective with up to 10 body parts.

Memory enhancement techniques need to be practiced until they become automatic.
