How can I look up fathers war record from world war 2?

My dad was a soldier in world war 2 and was all over Europe. Is there a way to see his army records?

As a NOK you do not have to use the SF-180 to request the record.
But of course you can download/print and use it if you desire.

How long is Call of Duty: World @ War Solo Campaign? Have you beat it yet?

Finished it about a week ago,the same day i got it.
Played it on easy mode, as I play most of shooters.
Its lenght is just about the same as it was for COD4. Short and fun.
But it aint too short. I guess it took me about 6 or 7 hours. A hard core gamer could finish it maybe faster. But for some,its possible it may take allmost 10 hours.

The involvement of robotics in the field of warfare has been very significant in the last century. Terminator, robot warriors and other science flicks have never failed to amaze us.

Well, this possibility is not far from the stretches of our imagination. The possibility to future wars being fought by robots is not unlikely. That is why a lot of armies all over the world are funding research studies to discover robots suitable for combat, surveillance and strategic warfare.

The military sector is calling these robots as AC's or autonomous combatants. This is largely because robots will operate almost independently, with very little or no human control. They consider these machines as very helpful in tactical and operational warfare.

The sensory capacities of AC's are also greater compared to that of humans. These robots will have higher chances of survival, more lethal, mobile and react faster than a human being. After all, robots are effective military weapons since they do not feel anything. They do not get tired, feel pain, get hungry and do not need to sleep. In short, robots do not have their morale affected by psychological concerns.

Quite admittedly, this is way cheaper and lessens human mortality. The way wars are fought will definitely be redefined by advanced technology, in this case, robots and artificial intelligence.

The one thing that many people fear, just like in the terminator movies, is that machines will be able to make decisions on their own and strike back at humans. Another dangerous situation lurks if an enemy finds a way to hack the system and use the weapon against the military.

In the present time, the United States Navy has funded several projects that improve robotics in warfare. Some are questioning the involvement of some robots since there are weapons that have become semi-autonomous.

Another downside of this is that robots do not know the rules of warfare and other code of war. The possibility of the war becoming inhumane is highly probable.
